Our department can best be described as strong, internationally oriented with a diversity of tasks. We are responsible for the support and execution of information systems. This applies to the Global Pharmaceutical Supply Group (production), Research and Development (R&D), Medical Affairs (MA) and Sales & Marketing (S&M).
Information Management consists of four departments:
- IM Local/IT
- IM Local/AT
- IM Global
- Information Technology Services (ITS)
IM Local/IT
At IM Local (Leiden) Operations we have business analysts and a compliance group. The business analysts implement and support local and global systems. The compliance group is, amongst others, responsible for change management, validation, information security and records management. IM Local/AT The automation group works on implementation and maintenance of manufacturing automation. Good cooperation with other Leiden departments and sites within the GPSG is necessary to support the regular conduct and challenging innovations in manufacturing automation.
IM Global
The IM Global team works from different locations worldwide. It supports IM within the GPSG with total management of large ERP systems. This team works closely with business departments.
ITS Leiden
ITS Leiden consists of two teams. The first point of contact for all users is ITS End User support. This team is responsible for solving of incidents, management of PC’s with peripheral equipment, laptops, telecommunication and network expansions. The Global Data Center team works on regular system and network management and carry out controlled changes.
